Health - Pennine Acute NHS Trust. Wednesday, 15 June 2005Speech by Paul Rowen MP on Wed 15th Jun 2005 Paul Rowen (Rochdale, LDem) To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make a statement on the recent vote of no confidence received by the Pennine Acute NHS trust board. Liam Byrne (Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Department of Health) holding answer 14 June 2005 I am aware that a vote of no confidence has been called at the Pennine Acute hospitals national health service trust. The postal ballot is due to close on 21 June. However, in line with the Department's Shifting the Balance of Power initiative, this matter needs to be resolved by the local NHS trust.
