Dean Larder (Smallbridge & Firgrove Liberal Democrats)Local champion Dean Larder has been selected by Rochdale Liberal Democrats to fight for the Smallbridge and Firgrove ward in May.

Known to many for his local campaigns for local safety improvements, Dean has the experience and skills to bring about real change in the ward. "For too long Labour has simply taken the people of Smallbridge & Firgrove for granted. There are dozens of issues that people have brought to my attention that are simply being ignored." said Dean to the FOCUS team, in a short break from campaigning.

"I believe that this is the main responsibility of any local councillor - to work in the best interest of the constituents and not of the party you represent. If elected to the council in May, I pledge to make myself available to all, will listen carefully to peoples needs and concerns and give 100% to serving the people of Smallbridge & Firgrove."

He has pledged to hold regular surgeries in the ward, carry out street visits and keep you updated through Facebook. Furthermore Dean has also vowed not to become a 'town hall politician' but stay FOCUS-ed on his ward where he is needed.
