Neil Lever - North Middleton

21 Apr 2006

Age 59, father with two children, one boy and one girl.

I am a very hard working activist who has campaigned throughout Middleton for years.

I have worked in the borough for nearly 20 years as a gardener/groundsman and retain a keen interest in the environment. As a volunteer I have devoted a lot of time to environmental improvements in North Middleton.

I am a Certified Voluntary Youth Worker and help to run a club for local youngsters in my area. I am also treasurer for my local Tenants and Residents Association and have been actively involved in a major improvement programme.

I support the Liberal Democrat Party local manifesto and if elected I want to specialise in environmental issues and leisure activities for both old and young. I put people before politics so I am keen to get more power from Rochdale and to local people.
