Rochdale Lib Dems Scoop Award for 'Best Ward Campaign' in Milnrow & Newhey

Last night at the annual Liberal Democrat Autumn Conference in Bournemouth, Rochdale Liberal Democrats were awarded with the 'Best Ward Campaign' from the Association of Liberal Democrats Councillors for our campaign in Milnrow & Newhey during the May 2015 local election.

The hard-fought campaign resulted in the election of Andy Kelly to Rochdale Council with a majority of over 700.

Following the award, Andy Kelly said "I'm really grateful to all the volunteers who made the campaign possible and to Irene Davidson my agent. It just goes to show that the LibDem Fightback is happening and that voters back people who work hard on their behalf. Thank you to the people of Milnrow & Newhey."

We would like to thank all those involved the campaign who donated their time and energy and of course the people of Milnrow & Newhey.
