Rochdale's Lib Dem MP - Paul Rowen has shown his support for Rochdale AFC and Rochdale Hornets Rugby Club by advertising at the ground. Paul, has shown commitment to the clubs by purchasing an advertising hoarding that will be on the touch line at the club for this season.

Paul said, "I am delighted to advertise at Spotland - I am a lifelong Rochdale Fan and didn't want to miss the opportunity to advertise the services I provide as the Member of Parliament - these include Advice Surgeries and our Website that features many of the issues we are campaigning on. It is important to communicate with the people of Rochdale - and what better way to do this than letting supporters of the football team and the Hornets know where they can find me."

The advertising hoarding will be up for this season and there are plans to continue this for the duration of this Parliament. It is strategically placed in front of the away supporters to enable as many Rochdalians to see the advert.

The stadium is regarded as one of the best in the lower Divisions of the Football League and Paul Rowen said, "I feel that I have killed two birds with one stone here - firstly I am doing my job in telling Constituents how to get in touch and secondly I am showing support for both Rochdale AFC and Rochdale Hornets."
